Cerna Municipality advances Dobra Voda walkway project
The Municipality of Cerna has reached a significant milestone in the development of the Dobra Voda area by signing a contract with Croatian Waters regarding construction rights on public water domains. This agreement resolves the property-legal issues that previously hindered the project.
The planned infrastructure project includes the construction of a 164-meter pedestrian walkway, 2.5 meters wide, which will connect the Dobra Voda area to Josip Kozarca Street. The development also features rest areas equipped with benches and bins, green spaces, improved stormwater drainage, and accessibility features for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility.
Mayor Josip Štorek stated that the project aims to create a safe and organized space for all generations to walk, rest, and socialize. The next phase involves applying for co-financing through a public call open until September 11, 2026. Construction will proceed following a financing decision and the signing of a funding agreement.
