Cernavodă and Năvodari plan 2026 city‑day festivals in Romania

The municipality of Cernavodă has launched a tender for its 2026 "Zilele Orașului" cultural‑artistic event, budgeting an estimated 1.4 million lei for a week‑long program from 10 to 16 August. The schedule lists daily line‑ups of Romanian and international performers such as Alina Eremia, Jador, Elena Gheorghe and Štefan Bănică Jr., with alternatives including INNA and DJ Project if needed. The festivities will close on 15 August with a ten‑minute fireworks display and laser show.

In the Black Sea resort town of Năvodari, the annual "Zilele Orașului" opened on 25 July with performances by local youth and artists including Andrei Ursu and Andrei Bănuță. The programme continues on 26 July with the IX edition of the Năvodari Cros, a family‑friendly race, and a ceremony awarding students who achieved top results in regional Olympiads. The day will also end with a fireworks spectacle.

Both towns aim to promote local culture, sport and education through these multi‑day celebrations.
