Cerro de San Pedro water well drilling progresses

Drilling for a new deep well in Portezuelo is progressing to address water shortages in Cerro de San Pedro, San Luis Potosí. The project involves a well approximately 350 meters deep.

Pascual Martínez Sánchez, head of the State Water Commission (CEA), stated that the project is being developed alongside the local Water Committee. While work continues, the CEA is providing water via tanker trucks to support affected families. Authorities are also reviewing measures to improve local water management, including potential legal updates and the possibility of creating a Municipal Water Directorate.
