Cerro Porteño sees player continuity and injury returns

Cerro Porteño is seeing significant player continuity and roster updates during the Clausura 2026 tournament. Key players providing stability include goalkeeper Manuel Roffo, defenders Jorge Morel and Iván Ramírez, and forward Pablo Vegetti. Roffo has demonstrated high effectiveness, particularly in recent matches, while Vegetti remains a primary offensive reference with five goals.

In squad news, attacker Juan Manuel Iturbe has recovered from injury and is available for coach Gustavo Costas ahead of the match against Sportivo Trinidense. While Iturbe is expected to start on the bench to regain competitive rhythm, his return reduces the team's injury list. Other players currently sidelined include Roberto Junior Fernández, Blas Riveros, and Cecilio Domínguez.
