Cersaie exhibition highlights trends in three-dimensional design

Current trends in interior design and architecture are shifting toward three-dimensionality and tactile experiences. At the Cersaie exhibition, designers are moving beyond flat surfaces to create walls and floors that engage both sight and touch.

Tonalite CEO Carlo Pagani noted a growing consumer demand for the corporeality of materials, leading to innovations such as double-layered tiling that combines different geometric shapes. Similarly, the company Sublime is reimagining outdoor spaces by treating swimming pools as integrated furniture elements, utilizing raised structures and surrounding seating to blend indoor and outdoor living.
