CERT Polska launches new cybersecurity portal and vulnerability module

CERT Polska has launched a new cybersecurity portal, wiedza.cert.pl, and introduced a vulnerability module within the moje.cert.pl service. These tools are designed to address a significant rise in threats driven by artificial intelligence.

Marcin Dudek, head of CERT Polska, noted that nearly 55,000 new vulnerabilities were detected globally in the first half of 2026 alone, surpassing the total count for 2024. The time between the public disclosure of a vulnerability and its malicious exploitation has shrunk to just a few hours, necessitating a shift from reactive to proactive defense strategies.

The new portal provides resources on vulnerabilities, ransomware, and other common cyber threats, alongside guidance on securing infrastructure. The vulnerability module aims to assist administrators by providing personalized alerts and risk assessments based on the specific technologies used by an organization, reducing the need to manually monitor all security communications.
