Certosa di San Lorenzo hosts wellness event and photo archive project

The Certosa di San Lorenzo in Padula, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is hosting two distinct initiatives focused on wellness and historical preservation.

On September 5, 2026, the third edition of ‘Certosa Wellness’ will take place. Organized by Start Active, the event aims to promote physical and mental health through various fitness activities, including Pilates, functional training, and hip hop. The program also includes holistic services such as psychological consultations, skincare, and free electrocardiograms for participants, alongside nutritional offerings.

Simultaneously, the ‘L'Atlante dei legami’ project has launched a photographic collection campaign across five municipalities in the Vallo di Diano. Supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Regional Directorate of National Museums of Campania, the initiative invites residents to contribute historical family photos, postcards, and slides. The goal is to create a participatory photographic archive that documents the historical and social connections between the monument and the local community.
