Cervecería López named iconic restaurant as Priegue kiosk reopens

In Buenos Aires, Cervecería López has been named an “iconic restaurant” by the Buenos Aires City Tourism Entity and the Association of Hotels, Restaurants, Confiterias, and Cafes. Located in the Villa Ortúzar neighborhood, the establishment was founded in 1943 and is recognized for its history, culinary identity, and cultural contribution to the city's heritage. It is part of a new group of eight establishments receiving this distinction, which includes venues such as Chiquilín, El Globo, and Pucará.

In Spain, the former Quiosco de Tito in Priegue is set to reopen as Berratola. After remaining closed for nearly a decade, the space is being revitalized by locals Luis Chamorro Veiga and Antón de Miguel Alonso. The new project aims to serve as a meeting point for the local community and a support hub for pilgrims traveling the Camino de Santiago, providing food and information for those traversing the route between Nigrán and Vigo.
