CerveCiencia hosts Ocean Bingo to fund science outreach in Puerto Montt

The CerveCiencia initiative in Puerto Montt, Chile, is hosting a “Bingo Oceánico” at Baradero Bar Cultural on August 26. This special event aims to raise funds to ensure the continuity of the CerveCiencia science communication cycle for the remainder of the year.

Organized by Fundación Corallina, the Milenio MASH Nucleus of the Universidad de Los Lagos, and Baradero Bar Cultural, the evening will replace traditional lectures with scientific trivia, games, and bingo rounds. Prizes include snorkeling sets, books, local products, and ocean-related experiences. The event is designed to foster community engagement with marine science and biodiversity through an accessible and entertaining format.
