Cervignano to discuss future of decommissioned Pasubio barracks

A public meeting is scheduled for October 2, 2026, at the Casa della Musica in Cervignano del Friuli to discuss the future of the decommissioned Pasubio barracks. The event is part of the ‘Le Settimane di Storia’ series organized by the association Cervignano Nostra.

The discussion will focus on the historical significance of the military site and its potential for urban transformation and recovery. Speakers include Mayor Andrea Balducci, journalist and military historian Italo Cati, retired officer Riccardo Balzarotti, and Michele Tomaselli, president of Cervignano Nostra. The program will also feature a short film by Marco D’Agostini regarding the complex.
