CES Awards to recognize sustainable building projects in Chile

The eighth edition of the Sustainable Building Certification (CES) Awards is scheduled for October 29, 2026, at the Chilean Chamber of Construction. This year, the awards will recognize projects located in the regions of La Araucanía, Metropolitana, Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica, and Valparaíso.

Recent developments in the certification process include the pre-certification of the Santa Mónica Campus service building at the Universidad Católica del Maule, following energy efficiency advisory work. Additionally, technical visits were conducted at hospitals in the Los Ríos and Los Lagos networks to review the implementation of thermal envelope solutions, waste management, and mitigation measures.

CES has also begun sharing its Chilean experience with the regional market, presenting opportunities for the real estate sector during an event organized by Peru GBC in Peru.
