Cesare Cremonini releases tenth studio album Amateur

Italian singer-songwriter Cesare Cremonini has released his tenth studio album, titled ‘Amateur’. Recorded in London, the project features a pop-rock structure characterized by orchestral arrangements and bluesy saxophone influences.

The album includes collaborations with various artists, including Malika Ayane, Salmo, and Fabri Fibra. Cremonini described the creative process as building a ‘team of superheroes’ to help him transition into a new musical era.

Recorded with high-level musicians such as jazz saxophonist Donny McCaslin, the work is noted for its departure from contemporary short-form pop trends, opting instead for longer, more detailed compositions. Cremonini has expressed that the album represents a pursuit of sonic freedom and a willingness to experiment, even at the risk of being misunderstood.
