Cese, Italy hosts 39th annual Beer Festival
Cese in the Marsica region of Abruzzo will hold its 39th edition of the annual Beer Festival on Saturday, 25 July. The event, which began in 1988, marks more than three decades of celebrating local brewing traditions and community gathering.
The festival features a curated selection of regional beers, accompanied by traditional foods such as arrosticini, sausages, porchetta, and the specialty "pasta alla birra." Live entertainment will be provided by the Avezzano band "Pin Up," delivering a mix of pop, funk, and rock. Additional activities include beer‑pong and other games designed for responsible fun.
Organised by the Pro Loco of Cese and a new board of young volunteers supported by longtime members, the celebration aims to invigorate the summer season, foster local development projects, and bring residents and visitors together in a convivial atmosphere.
