Cesena FC introduces inclusive audio description for visually impaired fans

Cesena FC is introducing an inclusive audio description service called ‘Connect Me Too’ to improve accessibility for blind and visually impaired fans at the Orogel Stadium-Dino Manuzzi. Developed by CMT Translations, the digital platform provides hyper-detailed, real-time descriptions of match events via 4G/5G mobile networks to ensure no delay between on-field action and narration.

Unlike traditional radio commentary, the service aims to recreate the full stadium experience by describing visual details such as player movements, facial expressions, jersey colors, bench reactions, and crowd choreography. The service is scheduled to debut during the Cesena vs. Cremonese match on Saturday, September 12. To use the system, fans must download the free ‘Connect Me Too’ app, use headphones, and enter a unique code provided by the club.
