Italian municipalities announce traffic restrictions and safety measures
Various Italian municipalities have announced localized traffic restrictions, police enforcement actions, and community safety initiatives for the coming weeks.
In Cesena, significant mobility changes are scheduled due to the Giostra di Cesena, a football match between Cesena and Cremonese, and the Alzheimer Marathon. These events will involve parking bans and transit restrictions in the historic center and near the stadium.
Avellino has issued an ordinance to manage traffic and parking around the Partenio-Lombardi stadium for the Avellino-Palermo Serie B match. Similarly, Barletta will implement road closures and parking bans for religious processions and concerts by Gianni Morandi and Riccardo Cocciante.
Messina's Municipal Police will conduct intensive speed and parking enforcement using Autovelox, Scout, and Guardium devices from September 14 to 20 to prevent road accidents. In L'Aquila, the ‘Adopt a School’ project has resumed, with Alpini volunteers assisting local police in monitoring school entrances and exits to ensure student safety.
