Cesena prepares for new police headquarters relocation

The city of Cesena is nearing the relocation of the State Police headquarters to a new facility on Viale IV Novembre. Mayor Enzo Lattuca described the move as a significant milestone in a decade-long effort to strengthen local security infrastructure.

This transition follows previous upgrades to the local police headquarters in 2018 and the Carabinieri barracks in 2024. The Mayor noted that the current initiative stems from a 2013 security strategy aimed at optimizing public resources and addressing the inadequacy of the previous site on Via Don Minzoni. Discussions are also reportedly underway regarding a more functional location for the Guardia di Finanza.
