Cesenatico hosts Italy's CSI national championships finals
From June 23 to July 5, Cesenatico turned into a national sporting hub for the Centro Sportivo Italiano (CSI) finals. Backed by the Emilia‑Romagna region, APT Servizi Emilia‑Romagna and Sport Valley, the twelve‑day event featured 2,500 athletes competing in 191 teams across 18 championship titles.
Volleyball saw around 1,600 participants, with Modena and Trento clubs capturing several age‑group titles. Football (11‑a‑side and 7‑a‑side) awarded six titles, including victories for Milan and Caserta teams. The championships also highlighted inclusive events such as the women's “Mamanet” tournament. The Lega Calcio Serie A supplied kits and equipment, supporting the anti‑racism campaign “Keep Racism Out.”
