Cesenatico: Two men return 900 euros found on the street to police

Two Bangladeshi men, aged 25 and 32, working at a hotel in Cesenatico, demonstrated significant civic honesty by returning 900 euros found on the street to the State Police.

The individuals discovered a bundle containing 18 fifty-euro banknotes and immediately flagged down a passing police patrol to report the find. Although they faced language barriers, they successfully communicated that they had found the money while walking but had not seen who lost it.

The police subsequently located the owners, an elderly couple from Cesenatico. The 80-year-old man had inadvertently lost the cash from his trouser pockets and was unsure of the exact amount. The retirees met with the two men to express their gratitude for the return of their funds.
