Cessé Komé to invest $46 million in Ivorian flour mill
Malian businessman Cessé Komé, through his company Moulin Koira de Côte d’Ivoire (MKCI), plans to invest approximately $46 million (26 billion FCFA) in a wheat processing unit in Côte d'Ivoire. The project was presented in Abidjan following meetings with the Investment Promotion Centre of Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI).
This venture marks Komé's expansion into the food processing industry, moving from his established backgrounds in textiles and luxury hospitality. The facility aims to serve the Ivorian market and the broader sub-region. With Côte d'Ivoire importing its wheat, national consumption is projected to reach approximately 806,000 tonnes for the 2026/2027 campaign, reflecting a 34% increase in demand in recent years.
