On 29 July 2026 the director of the Centro Tecnológico del Mueble y la Madera (CETEM), José Francisco Puche, presented the Yecla facilities to regional councilor Victor Marín, mayor Remedios Lajara and INFO director Joaquín Gómez. No definitive timeline, budget revision or construction schedule was disclosed; financing, site allocation and technical specifications remain to be finalised. Attendees also included Luis Alberto Marín, Pedro Arcas, José Antonio Ortega (president of AREMA) and other institutional and business representatives, reaffirming coordinated support for the project.
