Cetingrad signs contract for Cetin Old Town interpretation center

The Municipality of Cetingrad has signed a contract for the construction and equipping of an interpretation center at the Old Town of Cetin. The project, valued at approximately 1.74 million euros, aims to create a modern space for presenting the site's cultural and historical heritage.

The project is being financed through the Integrated Territorial Program for the 2021–2027 financial period, specifically under the call for the revitalization of cultural and historical heritage to develop cultural tourism in the Karlovac urban area. Cetingrad has been awarded 1.275 million euros in non-refundable funds.

The implementation period is scheduled to run from June 2, 2026, to June 2, 2028. The contract was signed between the Municipality of Cetingrad and relevant authorities, including the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the Central Agency for Funding and Management of Programs and Projects of the EU (SAFU), and the City of Karlovac.
