Cetingrad signs contracts for new sidewalk and road renovation projects

The municipality of Cetingrad has signed contracts for several infrastructure projects totaling over 576,000 euros. These works include the construction of a 530-meter sidewalk leading to the Cetingrad Primary School to improve pedestrian safety, as well as the renovation of two unclassified roads (NC-29 and NC-25) to enhance traffic quality and connectivity.

These specific projects are funded by the Croatian Government through the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. This follows a broader period of investment in the municipality, which has seen 14.5 million euros allocated over the last two years for various developments, including water supply, entrepreneurship zones, and cultural tourism projects like the restoration of Starog grada Cetina.

Local officials noted that upcoming plans include the takeover of the water supply system by Vodovod i kanalizacija Karlovac and the potential development of a new entrepreneurship zone and gas station to support local growth and retain younger residents.
