Cetinje Cultural Center to host French art exhibition

The Cetinje Cultural Center Gallery will host a lithography exhibition titled ‘The French Seven Magnificent’ starting October 1. The collection features 31 artworks, primarily lithographs from private collections, showcasing the evolution of modern art from the mid-19th to the mid-20th century.

The exhibition highlights seven influential French artists: Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse, and Jean Cocteau. The works trace various artistic movements, including realism, impressionism, post-impressionism, symbolism, and fauvism.

Art historian Ljiljana Zeković is scheduled to open the exhibition. The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro.
