Cetinje hosts traditional weaving workshop for European Heritage Days

As part of the European Heritage Days 2026, a traditional weaving workshop was held in Cetinje. The event aimed to preserve traditional crafts by teaching new generations how to use classic and children's wooden looms.

Participants learned basic fabric interlacing and how to create miniature patterns inspired by old bags. The workshop, organized by the Capital Cetinje in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro, focused on the theme ‘Endangered Heritage: Revive, Preserve, Redefine’.
