Cetinje Monastery hosts liturgy led by Metropolitan Joanikije and Bishop Paisije

Metropolitan Joanikije of Montenegro and the Littoral and Bishop Paisije of Dioclea served a Holy Hierarchical Liturgy at the Cetinje Monastery.

Following the Gospel reading, Protosinodal Gavrilo Raičević delivered a pastoral sermon interpreting the biblical account of the rich young man. He emphasized that while God does not require everyone to live in poverty, believers should prioritize spiritual values over earthly wealth. Raičević noted that the core message is to keep God first and use earthly life to gather ‘payment in heaven’ through keeping commandments and practicing love and forgiveness.
