Basilicata towns launch 'Comuni Lucani in Fiore' network

Enzo Fierro, the creator of the "Potenza Fiorisce" project, has announced the formation of a new network called "Comuni Lucani in Fiore" (Lucanian Towns in Bloom) in the Basilicata region.

Following a meeting with Mayor Lucio Milano in San Chirico Raparo, the initiative aims to establish a twinning process between local municipalities. The goal is to promote active citizenship and urban regeneration by encouraging residents, associations, and local businesses to beautify public spaces, such as balconies, alleys, and small gardens.

Fierro stated that the project seeks to transform the "culture of beauty" into a permanent policy for community regeneration, using urban greenery to enhance social identity, tourism, and the psychological well-being of citizens.
