Cetraro to host Kite Day for social inclusion

The town of Cetraro will host ‘Kite Day’ on Sunday, October 25, an event designed to promote social inclusion and intergenerational connection. Organized by the Centro Culturale e Tempo Libero Cetraro Marina APS ETS, the morning activities will take place along the seafront starting at 10:00 AM.

The program includes creative workshops for building kites, guided by the center's members and the Cetraro 1 ‘Arcobaleno’ Scout Group, followed by kite flying, music, and a snack. The initiative aims to foster community participation and exchange between different age groups and social backgrounds.

Several local organizations are participating to support social integration, including the association ‘Calcia l’Autismo APS ETS’ and residents from the Colonia San Benedetto residential center. The event is supported by the municipality of Cetraro and the Cooperativa Sociale Il Raggio Verde as part of the ‘Non più Soli e… Memorie in Cammino’ project.
