Ceuta and Teguise announce new student financial aid programs

Spanish municipalities Ceuta and Teguise have announced new financial aid programs for the 2026-2027 academic year to support students.

Ceuta's Government Council has approved 500,000 euros for university scholarships. This initiative is specifically aimed at supporting low-income families and helping to alleviate the costs associated with higher education, such as tuition, academic materials, and housing.

In Teguise, the City Council has allocated 450,000 euros for student transport subsidies. This budget represents a 100,000 euro increase compared to the previous year and is intended to cover travel expenses related to academic training for residents of the municipality.
