Ceuta citizens hold symbolic flag oath ceremony

Citizens of various ages participated in a symbolic civil and popular flag oath ceremony at Paseo del Revellín in Ceuta. Organized by the associations Renace Ceuta and Salvemos Ceuta, the event was intended as an expression of commitment to the city and Spain, rather than an official military ceremony organized by the Ministry of Defense.

The event included the performance of the Spanish national anthem by the Ciudad de Ceuta municipal band. Following the ceremony, participants marched to Plaza de los Reyes, where a manifesto was read and delivered to the Government Delegate, David de la Encina, for transmission to the national government.

Organizers emphasized that the initiative aimed to unite different generations, including children, youth, and seniors, to share a gesture of respect toward the flag. The associations expressed gratitude to the volunteers, local businesses, and citizens who supported the event.
