Ceuta football season begins with youth matches and team training

The football season in Ceuta has officially commenced, marked by both community religious ceremonies and the resumption of team training. The Real Federación de Fútbol de Ceuta (RFFCE), led by President Antonio García Gaona, inaugurated the season with prayers at the Sidi Embarek mosque and offerings to the Virgin of Africa.

Competitive play begins this Friday with youth categories, including benjamines and alevines in football-7. The upcoming schedule includes the start of junior categories next week, followed by debutant, women's, and regional preferred leagues in mid-October. This season expects high participation, with 103 futsal teams and 110 football and football-7 teams registered.

In parallel, the AD Ceuta FC Genuine team has returned to training at the Emilio Cózar field. The club's foundation continues to utilize football as a tool for social inclusion and personal growth as players prepare for the new competitive cycle.
