Ceuta invasion investigation receives testimony from Defense Minister

The political party Iustitia Europa has submitted statements made by Defense Minister Margarita Robles to the National Court as part of an ongoing investigation into the irregular mass entry into Ceuta.

During a parliamentary defense commission, Robles stated that intelligence services and the CNI performed their required duties and shared available information with State Security Forces and the Government Delegation. This testimony follows a complaint by Iustitia Europa requesting information regarding potential foreign involvement or social media coordination prior to the event.

Judge María Tardón of the National Court is investigating whether the mass irregular entry was a concerted action directed by a criminal organization. The court has also requested information to determine if Guardia Civil units in Ceuta received prior warnings about the situation.
