Ceuta leaders seek institutional support amid ongoing regional challenges

Juan Vivas, president of Ceuta, is actively seeking institutional and corporate support for the city following recent challenges. Borja Ochoa, president of Telefónica España, visited the city to reaffirm the company’s commitment to maintaining high-level connectivity, including fiber and 5G services, which are viewed as essential for the city's economic and social development.

This visit follows similar institutional engagements with Endesa, Bidafarma, and the National University of Distance Education (UNED). Additionally, Vivas is scheduled to present the current reality of Ceuta at the Nueva Economía Fórum in Madrid. During this event, he intends to emphasize the need for the city to return to normalcy following the events of July 30 and discuss the city's future prospects.
