Ceuta Medical College mobilizes volunteers for women and girls in Príncipe

The Official College of Physicians of Ceuta (COMCE) has launched a mobilization campaign to find volunteer doctors to provide medical assistance to women and girls currently sheltered at the CEIP Reina Sofía in the Príncipe Alfonso neighborhood.

The initiative follows an urgent request after several days of provisional stay, during which increasing medical needs were identified among the vulnerable group. COMCE President Enrique Roviralta personally visited the facilities to assess the situation and provided initial medical consultations on-site.

While several professionals have already volunteered to assess health status and provide care, the College emphasized that this is a purely altruistic effort. The organization clarified that this voluntary action does not have institutional support and is not intended to substitute for the official healthcare services that must be provided by the competent administrations.
