Ceuta Padel Federation cancels FIP Silver 2026 international tournament

The Ceuta Padel Federation (FPC) has announced the cancellation of the Ceuta FIP Silver 2026 international tournament, which was scheduled to take place from September 8 to 13, 2026.

The decision follows a series of lamentable events that occurred in the city on July 30, 2026. The federation noted that since those events, the local situation has worsened across various sectors. Citing reports from medical professionals, security forces, military personnel, and local authorities, the federation stated that the city is on the verge of collapse in several areas.

Furthermore, local government statements on August 18 indicated that the current environment makes it extremely difficult to host sporting events that involve large gatherings of people. The FPC has been in constant communication with the International Padel Federation and the Spanish Padel Federation to evaluate the evolving situation and the uncertainty surrounding the city's stability.
