Ceuta President honors former Minister Fátima Báñez

Juan Vivas, the President of Ceuta, has expressed his grief following the death of former Minister Fátima Báñez. Vivas described the former official as a close friend of the city who demonstrated great sensitivity toward its specific needs and socioeconomic challenges.

Báñez, who served as the Minister of Labor and Social Security between 2011 and 2018 during the Mariano Rajoy administration, passed away in a tragic accident in Urda. She was traveling to Seville to participate in an event for the Andalusian business association when the incident occurred, which resulted in the deaths of 70 people.
