Ceva installs solar panels on municipal buildings

The municipality of Ceva has completed the installation of three new photovoltaic systems on the roofs of municipal buildings, including a middle school gym and a former educational directorate. The project has a total capacity of 44.72 kWp.

The initiative, valued at 100,000 euros, was funded by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cuneo through its 2024 extraordinary interventions grant. Vice Mayor Fabio Ferrero stated that the investment aims to produce renewable energy while reducing long-term consumption costs for public properties, contributing to the town's broader strategy for energy efficiency and renewable energy communities.
