CEVA Logistics pilots autonomous electric vehicles in Singapore

CEVA Logistics has launched a pilot program at its Blue Hub facility in Singapore using two Zelostech Z10 autonomous electric vehicles (AVs). These vehicles, referred to as RoboVans, are designed for intra-hub operations, transporting pallets, totes, and other inventory across the building’s eight floors using existing multi-level ramp infrastructure.

The initiative aims to enhance operational agility and optimize staging area usage by allowing for more flexible inventory transfer scheduling. Early results from the trial suggest the solution could reduce CO2 emissions by at least 4,600 kilograms annually while simultaneously improving operational efficiency.

The project originated from the 2025 CMA CGM Startup Awards, co-organized by ZEBOX, the innovation accelerator of CEVA Logistics’ parent company, the CMA CGM Group. Zelostech received funding through the awards to develop a proof of concept with CMA CGM, leading to this collaboration. The Blue Hub facility is a 50,000-square-meter site that already utilizes advanced technologies such as Goods-to-Person (G2P) systems and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
