Ceviam awarded contract for Guadalajara municipal library

The company Ceviam EPC S.L. has been awarded the contract to transform the Nave de Forja within the Fuerte de San Francisco complex in Guadalajara into a new municipal library. The project, awarded by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, will cost approximately 4.14 million euros, which is roughly 576,000 euros less than the original budget.

This construction project follows a ruling by the High Court of Justice of Castilla-La Mancha, which required the regional government to comply with a 2017 sentence regarding the complex. The rehabilitation aims to repurpose the historic forge building into a cultural facility. Once works begin, the company will have 12 months to complete the transformation.
