Ceyhun Gülselam announces retirement from professional football

Professional footballer Ceyhun Gülselam has announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 38. The announcement came via his social media accounts following his decision not to renew his contract with his most recent club, Altay.

Gülselam began his football journey in the Bayern Munich youth academy. His professional career spanned several prominent clubs in Germany and Turkey, including Unterhaching, Trabzonspor, Galatasaray, Kayserispor, Hannover 96, Kardemir Karabükspor, Ankaraspor, and Alanyaspor.

In his retirement statement, Gülselam expressed gratitude for his journey, noting the friendships, memories, and experiences gained throughout his career. He also highlighted the pride he felt in representing the national team.
