CF Montreal and LA Galaxy played to a 2-2 draw at Stade Saputo in a Major League Soccer matchup. Daniel Rios opened the scoring for Montreal in the 16th minute during his debut, but Ruben Ramos Jr. equalized for the Galaxy just four minutes later with his first career MLS goal.

In the second half, Maya Yoshida extended the Galaxy's lead with a back-heeled goal in the 48th minute. However, the momentum shifted in the 68th minute when Galaxy goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski received a red card for a foul on Prince Owusu. Playing with a man advantage, Montreal capitalized when Owusu scored a header in the 79th minute to secure the draw.

Owusu’s goal marked his 13th of the season, extending his scoring streak to four consecutive matches. The result extends Montreal’s unbeaten run to four games, while the Galaxy have now seen a player sent off in three consecutive matches.
