CFFA to face Young Africans SC in CAF Champions League
Madagascar's CFFA is preparing for the second qualifying round of the CAF Champions League, where they will face Tanzania's Young Africans SC. After advancing past Lesotho's Lijabatho FC with a 3-1 aggregate score, the Malagasy champions face a significant challenge against a regional powerhouse that has remained undefeated in its last fifteen matches.
Due to the lack of a certified stadium in Madagascar capable of hosting continental competitions, CFFA will be forced to play both legs of the tie in Tanzania. The first leg is scheduled for mid-October, with the return leg following approximately four days later at the Azam Complex Stadium. Head coach Franck Rajaonarisamba noted that the club is focusing on tactical organization and physical conditioning to prepare for the high-speed play required at this level, while also managing the financial constraints of playing both matches away from home.
