CfL Berlin 65 secures Oberliga hockey status

The CfL Berlin 65 men's first team has secured its place in the Oberliga following a 1-0 victory against Steglitzer TK on the final matchday of the season. The win was critical, as only a victory would guarantee the team's stay in the league, while a draw would have resulted in relegation.

After being promoted from the Verbandsliga in the summer of 2025, the team faced a difficult transition period in the Oberliga, including several heavy defeats at the start of the season. However, the squad managed to recover their form, aided by new players from their own youth academy, to successfully avoid relegation.
