CFL Labour Day Classic features key roster changes and divisional matchups

The Canadian Football League enters its Labour Day Classic weekend with several key roster changes and high-stakes matchups. In the East Division, the Toronto Argonauts will face the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The Argonauts welcome back veteran kicker Lirim Hajrullahu following a hamstring injury, while the Tiger-Cats will debut running back Nahree Biggins after Larry Rountree III was moved to the reserve roster.

In the West Division, the 8-3 Edmonton Elks are scheduled to play the Calgary Stampeders. The Elks enter the matchup as favorites, led by running back Justin Rankin, while the Stampeders face challenges with a struggling offense and potential quarterback uncertainty involving Vernon Adams Jr.

Other roster movements include the return of Tyler Ternowski and Jonathan Denis for Hamilton, and the return of defensive lineman Paris Shand for Toronto. Conversely, Hamilton has placed defensive back Robert Panabaker on the one-game injured list, and Toronto has placed defensive back Alex Teubner on the same list.
