CFL Week 21 to determine playoff fates for West Division teams

The Canadian Football League's Week 21 matchups will determine several playoff scenarios in the West Division. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers (8-9) must defeat the B.C. Lions (10-7) to secure a postseason berth. If Winnipeg wins, their playoff seeding depends on the outcome of the Saskatchewan Roughriders (9-8) game against the Edmonton Elks.

If both Winnipeg and Saskatchewan win, Saskatchewan will finish third and face B.C. in the West Semi-Final, while Winnipeg will act as the crossover team to visit the Toronto Argonauts in the East Semi-Final. Conversely, if Winnipeg wins and Saskatchewan loses, Winnipeg will visit B.C. in the West Semi-Final, and Saskatchewan will cross over to visit Toronto.

If the Blue Bombers lose their game, the Calgary Stampeders (9-9), who are currently on a bye week, will secure a playoff spot. The top two seeds in both divisions have already been finalized: Edmonton will host the West Final, the Lions will host the West Semi-Final, and the Montreal Alouettes will host the East Final.
