CFR Cluj investor Hendrik Klein reported missing from club

Hendrik Klein, the Swiss businessman introduced as the new president and potential investor for the Romanian football club CFR Cluj, has reportedly disappeared from the organization.

Klein was presented by owner Ioan Varga as part of a strategic plan to address the club's debts and transition ownership. His proposed project focused on three pillars: football performance, technology, and financial sustainability. However, club judicial administrator Răzvan Zăvăleanu stated that he only saw Klein during his first few days at the club and has had no contact with him since.

While Klein's absence has caused concern among supporters, Zăvăleanu noted that the club is currently able to sustain itself through its own production and loans from Mr. Varga. In contrast, Zăvăleanu praised the high level of involvement and motivation shown by coach Marius Șumudică.
