CFU U-14 Challenge Series begins in Dominican Republic

The Caribbean Football Union (CFU) U-14 Challenge Series is taking place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, featuring youth squads from 28 countries. The tournament aims to foster international competition and player development across the Caribbean region.

Suriname's national U-14 selection is competing in Group D alongside the United States Virgin Islands, Grenada, and Saint Lucia. Their schedule includes matches against the US Virgin Islands on August 16, Grenada on August 17, and Saint Lucia on August 19. Only the winner of each group will advance to the semi-finals.

Saint Lucia is represented by a 19-member squad led by head coach Stuart Charles Fevrier. The team features players with experience from various local leagues, including Monchy United and the Saint Lucia Sports Academy. The delegation traveled to the Dominican Republic to participate in the regional competition.
