CGC Group and Koikeya launch large-capacity, eco-friendly potato chips

CGC Group and Koikeya have launched a new line of large-capacity potato chips, ‘Tappuri Gisshiri W-Pack’, available at CGC Group member stores. The product comes in two flavors: Nori Shio and Potato and Salt.

To improve logistics efficiency and environmental sustainability, the companies utilized a ‘bite-sized cut’ manufacturing technique. This allows the 110g packs to maintain nearly the same package size as a standard 55g bag, effectively doubling the content while reducing packaging waste. This initiative aligns with CGC’s efforts to eliminate inefficiencies in production and distribution.
