CGT Formosa expresses support for Governor Gildo Insfrán

The regional delegation of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) in Formosa has expressed unconditional support for Governor Gildo Insfrán. This follows a decision by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation to intervene in a lawsuit challenging the validity of a transitional clause in Formosa’s new constitution.

The CGT issued a statement labeling the legal challenge as a “malicious and shameless maneuver” by the opposition, characterizing the arguments as fallacious technicalities. The labor organization also criticized President Javier Milei, accusing him of failing to respect the National Constitution and the mandates of the Supreme Court regarding workers' rights and provincial autonomy.
