Chabad Young Professionals to host 10th annual Encounter in Crown Heights

Registration is set to open for the 10th annual Chabad Young Professionals (CYP) Encounter, an international event scheduled to take place in Crown Heights from January 15–17, 2027. Organizers expect over 1,000 participants from around the world to attend the milestone gathering.

Since its inception a decade ago with only 35 attendees, the event has grown significantly. The CYP network, operating under Merkos 302, now reaches nearly 350 communities globally. The encounter aims to connect young Jewish professionals, fostering community ties and religious engagement during a pivotal stage of life.

Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, Executive Director of Merkos 302, noted that the growth of the event reflects the increasing impact of young professional Shlichus. Registration for the event opens on Monday, October 12, at 12 PM ET.
