Chaco and Formosa collect 10 tons of recyclables for Garrahan Hospital

Communities in Chaco and Formosa joined forces to collect approximately 10 tons of recyclable materials for the Garrahan Pediatric Hospital Foundation. The collection drive, which took place over a Saturday, involved families, local institutions, companies, and volunteers from both provinces.

This successful operation resulted in the dispatch of the 117th truck dedicated to this cause since the initiative began in Formosa in 2002. The logistics for the transport were supported by various entities, including Supermercados Cáceres, the Argentine Army, the Judiciary of Formosa, and several local organizations and clubs.

Volunteers from Chaco, led by Carlos Alabe, contributed a significant amount of collected bottle caps to the effort, highlighting the cross-provincial solidarity aimed at supporting the development of the Juan P. Garrahan Pediatric Hospital in Buenos Aires.
